HIGHLIGHTS OF WEIGHT LOSS RECIPES: PART ONE

INTRODUCTION: Obesity and weight gain is one of the contemporary issues
Honey 
in contemporary times, basically due to lifestyle. Solutions with regards to weight loss has been the bane of modern society in recent times. Research has shown that it has ranged from weight loss tablets to weight loss food supplements, which most times are saddled with negative side effects to human health, hence a need to look inwards into natural things created by God.

In view of this, and due to the high  demand for weight loss recipes by friends, I decided to do a quick rundown on weight loss recipes. All recipes are naturally based, no artificials, no additives, little or no exercise is needed. Nevertheless it must be noted here that daily exercise routine is necessary for a healthy lifestyle.

BASIC TRUTH ABOUT EXERCISE:

(1) It helps the heart do it's work
(2) It wards off certain ailments
(3) It strengthens the bones and muscles
(4) It helps shed off excess fat in the body system,             hence reducing the cholesterol level in the body
(5) It helps take care of the problem of insomnia
(6) Keeping fit makes one happy
(7) Exercises enhances your complexion and beauty
(8) It reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease
(9) It increases your energy level.

That being said, below  is a few weight loss recipes that will help trim down your waist line, stomach and overall body fat. The recipes here are amenable and subject to change, depending on individuals, Suffix it to state here that the basic components of this natural weight loss recipes are as stated in previous posts, Ginger,  lemons, cucumber and honey among several others.

LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT GINGER,  LEMONS, CUCUMBERS AND HONEY :

GINGER: It helps facilitate the body metabolic rate (hence can burn the stored up fat in the body. The vitamin C content also facilitates fat elimination. It is a natural appetite suppressant, so drinking ginger water can help curb the urge to over eat. It is a potent anti-inflammatory that offers protection against colon cancer. It possibly induces cell death in ovarian cancers and boosts the immune system, as stated in related posts.

LEMONS: It is also considered a natural thinning agent.  It contains vitamins C, which is an antioxidant that promotes waste elimination from the body just as mentioned in the previous posts. The vitamin C, fights fluid retention, helps detoxify the body and contributes in reduction of abdominal swelling. The flavonoid component also has anti cancer properties.

CUCUMBERS: Cucumbers are fundamental in reducing abdominal fat; they are refreshing, high in water content and fiber and low in calories. The vitamin C content equally helps in weight loss. It is also anti-inflammatory and rich in potassium.

HONEY: Honey contains about 22 amino acids as well as vitamins and minerals, these facilitate the body metabolism during which process, food is converted into usable energy and improved health. A comprehensive note will be given on honey in a later post.

In view  of the above. Here are some basic recipes that has worked for many :

GINGER,  LEMON AND HONEY DETOX :

 There are different methods and recipes to this detox. Most times it depends on individual differences, but it all ends up at the same thing.

RECIPE 1:
1 glass water
1/2 inch of ginger slices
1tsp honey
1lemon

METHOD:
(1) Boil the glass of water in a pot or pan
(2) Add the 1/2 inch of ginger slices
(3) Boil for 10mins on low flame
(4) Turn off flame,  cover and allow to sit for 5mins
(5) Strain  the water into s cup
(6 Add 1tsp of honey and mix
(7) Add your lemon slices.
                             (8) Drink first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

RECIPE 2:
1-2 inch ginger
1 lemon
1tabsp of honey
4 cups of water

METHOD:
(1) Boil  the water
(2) Add the ginger slices
(3) Simmer for 5-10mins
(4) Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey
(5) Stir well. Drink first thing in the morning and in between the day and last thing at night

RECIPE 3: NEW DISCOVERY 
The one in the pan or pot, in the picture above

 3 cups of water
 2 inch of ginger
 1 lemon
 1tabsp of honey

METHOD:
(1) Put water in a pot, adding the ginger slices
(2) Bring to a boil
(3) Lower heat and simmer for 10mins
(4) Add your freshly squeezed lemon juice
(5) Add your table spoon of honey and stir
(6) Cut up the already squeezed lemon and add to your ginger lemon drink
(7) Cover and allow to sit for 10-15mins
(8) Sieve into a cup and drink first thing the morning and last thing at night.

FLAT TUMMY GINGER AND LEMON WATER DETOX



1 large tsp of grated ginger
1/2 a lemon juice
2-3 slices of lemon
2 tsp  honey
1 cup lukewarm water

METHOD:
(1) Get a fat chunk of ginger. Peel and grate
 (2) Get a glass and put 1 large tsp of grated ginger in it.
(3) Add the honey
(4) Add the juice of 1/2 a lemon
(5) Add your glass of lukewarm water in it and stir
(6) Add your slices of lemon
(7) Cover with a cling film or foil and allow to sit for 20mins
(8) Drink first thing in the morning and last thing at night. This has worked for many and can work for you, just as research has proven.
